Back to the hobby!

After a long holidays, here I am back to the work and the hobby. The Onin War project is still going on, and during the summer I also could read some references and bibliography in order to revise and prepare the main events of the war and its combatants.

Right now these are the proyect I have on the desktop. At the end, one outskirts house and one "modelic" shintoist temple which will represent the Goryo shrine, the place of the first battle of the Onin War. The buildings are made of cardboard and the roofs of card. I have used also balsa wood for the strips, etc... Figures are three samurai units, and three command groups: one bugyo, one Taisho and one So-Taisho, 19 infantry figures and 6 cavalry figures.

These are the armies for the battle of Goryo Shrine at the moment. The bare bases are for the units which still need to be painted. They are 2 bases of So-Taisho, 4 Taisho, 1 Bugyo and 4 samurai bases. Meanwhile, I would like to prepare some articles about the Goryo Shrine battle and about the samurai command system, and its application to the rules of Sengoku Jidai, which are going on.
